The ATA boys soccer team played an excellent, but scoreless, first half against Hope of Detroit Academy last night.  ATA had numerous shots on goal and dominated possession, but narrowly missed many chances to put the ball past the Hope keeper.

ATA would score first in the 55th minute on a Hector Rey goal, but Hope of Detroit would come back and put in three more in the second half to win 4-1. Coach Richardson credits a stronger defensive line, controlled passing, and working together with the better play in the first half.

There is practice today at 4:00.  Friday, the soccer team plays at home against Riverside West in our blue “Away” uniforms.  Kickoff will be at 4:30.
