Lakers Drop Close Match to Renassaince

The ATA Boys Varsity Soccer Team played hard against Renaissance Friday night with Erik Ramirez scoring from a penalty kick and Hussein Al-Zayadi scoring ten minutes into the second half. In the first home volleyball game of the season the Lady Lakers battled the Cougars of Detroit Consortium. The ladies fell in three games to the Cougars. Amber Turnbull had 12 service points. The Men and Women’s Cross Country teams competed in the Charter School Conference jamboree at Nankins Mills on Wednesday. Junior Omari Martin once again lead the Lakers. The Men’s Corss Country team competed at the 47th annual thirty-eight team Huron Invitational in New Boston on Saturday. The Lakers finished in 11th place in their division.
